Positive Living CenterPositive Living Center

The Positive Living Center began in 2002 with a small grant from the United Way of the Mid-South Avron B. Fogelman Venture Fund grant and had its first home in the basement of First Congregational Church. When Friends For Life moved into its new headquarters in 2005, the Positive Living Center was placed in one of the largest rooms in the building. The program provides opportunities for persons affected by HIV/AIDS to manage the disease in a holistic manner recognizing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all persons. The Positive Living Center provides a place for persons with HIV/AIDS and their caretakers to participate in therapeutic activities that are designed to increase their quality of life with HIV/AIDS.
